Orchard Equine Transport are pleased to offer our horsebox hire / self drive service for those who need to collect and/or deliver horses for any reason but do not want the expense of buying and maintaining a horsebox. Also , Horse trailer owners who prefer a horsebox for that longer run on a motorway.

Many features make our horseboxes user friendly and enjoyable to use.

We currently have a Bloomfield’s 3.5 ton Stallion horsebox available for self-drive hire. A compact, easy to drive horsebox, with a gross maximum weight of 3,500kg, meaning it can be driven by any driver aged between 25 - 75 years with a standard car license.

The box is a side loader, with a low ramp to allow quick, stress free loading for your horse. The horses travel rear facing and the partitions can be adjustable to the side to allow more space for your horse or for extra comfort for those youngsters which need to travel loose.

The CCTV allows you to watch your horse in transit for piece of mind and in the event of an emergency our box has a wide back door for an emergency exit .Our stallion partition and no breast bar mean our horseboxes are suitable for young or difficult horses.

​Our horsebox hire is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This includes bank holidays! All our Horseboxes have CCTV monitors.
